Dell PowerEdge 400SC AD1980 Audio Driver

Looks like “Analog Devices ADI 198x Integrated Audio” should work. I may update this post when I find it.

Update: Google search gets owned again. This seems to be a recurring theme. I should stop wasting my time with Google when Yahoo always does much better. This time, my search is dell 400sc AD1980 Audio driver windows xp. Google returns zero results. I was almost going to despair until I tried the search with Yahoo. Nine (9) unique results, all extremely useful. The conclusion? Google sucks.

Yahoo gave me exactly what I was looking for. Since the website that one of the pages linked to was down, Archive.org made sure it was still online. Unofficial 400SC FAQ. Surprisingly, Archive.org seemed to archive .exe files too, but they were corrupt for me. Fortunately, the source URLs were still up for those files.

    abhay, at the top of my writing, you could snag the driver directly from Dell at http://ftp1.us.dell.com/audio/A01_3600_Audio.exe

    Hope this helps.
