drt, that is NOT legitimate it’s popularly known as click fraud, thus I never ask anyone to click the ads on any of my sites. It’s not really fair to the advertisers– unless, of course, you’re actually interested in buying what they have to offer.

I ordered/donated one of these on Monday morning when the program first started. I’m looking forward to getting mine! It’s nice to know that some kid in a developing country will get a laptop because of me too.

(Also, it’s a pretty great idea they had to have people donate one in order to buy one. It’s sad, but as a somewhat poor college student I would not have donated $200 to them without this program)

Good luck. I worked so hard to raise money for Baby Gratia’s operation and asking for donation as you can read from my blog, but the money finally came from real people that I knew instead of getting donation from my blog visitors. I think you may have better luck if you just ask your visitors to click on the ads but I’m not sure if that is legitimate or not, i.e., whether the advertisers would pay it or not. Anyway, I just wish you good luck. You have a good heart.
