One of the major reasons, IMHO, geeks and nerds do not develop social skills is because they see no need. Most kids are concerned with their classmates opinions, and being liked. Those that do not care about being liked and just want to do what they want to do — i.e. learn math — develop in other ways their peers do not.

Hmm, I just had a look at the Google Web APIs program and checked out their FAQ which states that the APIs can be used for “Creating innovative games that play with information on the web.” Google Web APIs - FAQ
I’m setting my clock again after today’s blackout. I’m going to try 24 hour mode this time.
How to use 24 hour mode:
There is an extra LED in the far left column (10s of hours) so that those that want to operate the clock in 24 hour mode (like “military time”) and do so. In this mode, 2:00 PM is displayed as 14:00 hours. When the time reaches 20:00 (8 PM), the extra LED in the left column will light.
