Binary Clock 24 Hour Mode

I’m setting my clock again after today’s blackout. I’m going to try 24 hour mode this time.

How to use 24 hour mode:
There is an extra LED in the far left column (10s of hours) so that those that want to operate the clock in 24 hour mode (like “military time”) and do so. In this mode, 2:00 PM is displayed as 14:00 hours. When the time reaches 20:00 (8 PM), the extra LED in the left column will light.

You can set the clock to operate in 24 hour mode by doing the following:

1) Unplug the adapter from the wall.
2) Wait about 10 seconds for the unit to reset internally.
3) Hold the “H” button (the hours time set button on the back of the clock) in when
applying AC power to the clock.
4) Set the clock and see if you are in 24 hour mode.

Thanks man.

I was almost about to apply a voltage transformer to see if the little light would go on based on the hertz.
This was annoying for about three months since I received the damn gift.

God bless you and God Bless America!
Now I can start eating again!

Thanks for the info, had to reset my binary clock on campus (i.e. far away from the manual).

One of the coolest clocks I’ve ever acquired. :)

Thank you SO MUCH for your instructions on adjusting the mode of the clock such that it displays military time. I’ve been in the army for 36 years and, in all this time, haven’t ever had a binary clock that can do military time. This is wonderful and very much uplifting the spirits of the boys over here in Iraq with me.

We all thank you.

God bless America

Thanks a bunch. Couldn’t figure it out.
