It’s official…Gmail is legit - The Unofficial Google Weblog

Well, the debate of whether or not Gmail was a joke has been settled. In an interview with Reuters, Jonathan Rosenberg, Google’s vice president of products, had this to say:

“It is April Fool’s Day. We were having fun with this announcement. We are very serious about Gmail,” Rosenberg said in an interview.

Enough said. Let’s see now how Google’s new service competes with Yahoo and Hotmail.
