Windows XP SP2 puts back Microsoft gunk

Okay, so I’ve upgraded to SP2.

One thing I noticed immediately is that my Quick Launch toolbar had 2 icons added. This is a service pack, you fix security flaws, great. However, the installer also put back Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player icons into the Quick Launch toolbar. Ugly, really ugly.

New Windows Update Interface

The Windows Update application included with Windows XP now looks different. It has a cleaner interface and presents two options: Express Install and Custom Install. MS also just released a patch that removes MyDoom.
