Apple has released a very small Mac called the Mac Mini, and it will be sold for $499 (40 GB) and $599 (80 GB). It doesn’t include a monitor, keyboard, or mouse — but you can get those anywhere.
The Mini is the lowest-priced Mac; it used to be the $799 eMac. However, it does still cost $500, which is more than some PCs.
Do you remember freeiPods.com? Even if you don’t - I got a free iPod from them. This is the same company. It works.

There are a few things I discovered when I went to research the Free Mac Mini .com offer. I signed up with no problem, but when I started looking for an offer for everyone to fulfill, I found that it would be hard to get everyone through free. I found one offer called efax that gives a free trail for 30 days then makes you pay if you don’t cancel it. Even worse, they want a credit card # (they won’t charge if you cancel early enough). If you cancel it too early, the offer won’t count, if you cancel too late, you owe Visa $12.95. Using efax, you can manage to get through without paying. Those of you with a little more money to spare could sign up for Blockbuster’s online deal. You rent a DVD online, they send it to you, you watch it, you put it back in its envalope, and send it out with the mail the next day. Free shipping, and unlimited rentals for the first month only $9.95. Just be sure to cancel or else the next month’s price jumps to $14.95. If you are not sure or do not want to complete this for me, then don’t worry, I can find someone else or give up alltogether. Although judging by how much I just wrote, you can tell I REALLY want this mac mini.
