Hmmm. R A B = Regulas Black. Dumbledore killed by Snape whom he trusted. Itz all very strange. Well i personally tink dat Dumbledore knew he was going to die, he knew that Snape was going to betray him one day, he knew Voldemort will one day rise. He knew things others didnt, so basically what im trying to say is that Dumbledore Knew EVERYTHING but he had everything planned. Dumbledore died for a reason he did it for one Specific reason: to help harry survive. And everyone should know that Harry needed to survive for a reason and dat reason is the prophecy and why the prophecy was made. one person could defeat voldermort and it is harry, thats why his parents died for him, not because they were scared but for love. Harry’s weapon for voldemort is LOVE. And everyone knows that Voldemort doesnt even know the meaning of the word love.

I agree with Je. It is not like Dumbledore to Beg, especially to Snape! What if the Begging and groveling was just a signal to Snape to kill him? Maybe he was dying already(the hand gives a hint!), and want to be finished off in some bizarre twist to the plot.

I reckon Fawkes will belong to Harry or something, maybe Dumbledore has left a will. Also the reason Sirius and people don’t have portraits and Dumbledore does is because the headmasters and headmistresses of Hogwarts all have portraits and Sirius’s mother probably had it painted especially.
I really really REALLY want the seventh book out soon - there are so many mysteries now. I think Harry might actually go back to Hogwarts, maybe to do his N.E.W.Ts and stuff. I think his scar might be a horcrux and he’ll realise and kill himself, also killing Voldy…somehow…
It’s getting really damn confusing now. And the essence divided thing is weird; can someone explain it to me? Also what page is the bit when Hagrid overhears Snape and Dumbledore talking and Dumbledore says something like “You MUST do it!” cos I’ve flicked through the whole book over and over and I can’t find it anywhere!

Neville and Luna are the most isolated students we know of at Hogwarts, I think the book tells you that they were the only ones that kept an eye out for the DA signal, so I don’t think it makes them loyal, sad is more accurate.

Snape taking the vow still does not rule out the possibility that he is not a traitor. If he has already promised Dumbledore that he would kill him when the time came, it would be an easy vow to take.

The opening scene with the muggle minister is different, the only purpose would be to confirm what we have been told in previous books about communication between the two worlds. It also shows us how far Fudge has fallen in the scheme of things and allows the reader to see an early contrast between the ex and new minister of magic.

Now that we know Snape is the Half Blood Prince, you have to acknowledge that he is no ordinary wizard, he thinks out of the box so to speak, does not follow the rules and seems to be quick on his feet. I think Snape fans have a lot to be impressed about the newly defined Snape. If he is on the good side as I believe Voldamort has a potential rival in his midst.
