USC, through software.usc.edu, provides firewall and antivirus software to students for free. There are other applications available, too, including an FTP/SFTP client. My Norton AntiVirus 2003 free subscription expired, so I uninstalled it and installed the USC-provided version instead (Corporate Edition). The updates required were:
Avenge 1.5 MicroDefs2 Corp 9
Symantec Client Firewall IDS Signatures
(Downloaded via LiveUpdate.)
- Can’t access Gmail, USC Email, Facebook, and other sites requiring a login
- Enable Sending Referrers with Symantec Client Firewall
- Norton Internet Securiity Blccks Without Notice
- wininet.dll was not found
- iPod Software Version History?
- Google Makes You Money
- USC Email - Remove from Server
- New Windows XP Install
- ThinkPad Failed to Resume from Standby
- Popup Blocker may be Preventing Gmail from Opening the Page
» Enable Sending Referrers with Symantec Client Firewall
» Changes in Firefox 1.5
» Symantec, Semantic, Busyness and Business
» Popup Blocker may be Preventing Gmail from Opening the Page
