emacs is awesome. Not only does it have infinite “undo”, but it also has infinite “redo”. But there’s no “redo” command. Redo is the same thing is undoing an undo. That’s a very logical way of looking at things.

- Compiling C Programs at USC
- Undo discard
- Eject CD from Mac Mini
- January Jumpstart 2006
- Windows Installer Service Could Not Be Accessed
- Gizmo Bytes and MP3 Shack
- Moving a CPanel website over SSH
- Portrait of an INTP
- So much to read and think about, so little time: Writely, Google, Ask, Box.net

Hi Eliot,
It has been a while since your post, but I guess it deserves an answer!
There is a repeat command (C-x z), see http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki/RepeatingCommandsLikeVi
Also there is a repeat-complex-command (C-x Esc Esc), see
