I used to do it manually by saving the .dbx files, until I found &lt;a href="http://www.amicutilities.com/outlook-express-backup/" rel="nofollow"&gt;Outlook Express Backup Genie&lt;/a&gt; that does it automatically at regular times.

I choused it over other because it can work with both MS Outlook and Outlook Express
