Historical Size of Google’s Index

Took some time to find statistics on this. Search Engine Showdown has some numbers. A more promising search was size of Google’s index over time. My goal would be to come up with a Moore’s Law for the web (or for search).
By the way, MySpace or YouTube? Alexa says YouTube is #1, but Hitwise says that title belongs to MySpace.

NASA Centers

JPL is the star of NASA. Other than manned spaceflight, what do the other centers do? Yet 2/3 of NASA’s budget goes into manned spaceflight. Robotic missions are way cool, the technology is revolutionary, and we could do so much more. In the words of someone here: “NASA’s insane.”
