I just swapped the text ads on the GoogleCommunity.com channel “GCvBGuest2ndLargeRect” for text and image ads. In 2 weeks, I should see how the performance compares. I might be leaving a lot of money on the table!
Do you have any experience comparing earnings between Google text ads and image ads? Which earned you more, and how much more?
Elliot, I use both in my blog - text and image ads. However, I tend to use text ads more than images because text allows you to display multiple ad links in a block of ad where images allows only one ad.
I like to place image ads on posts where I have lots of photos, I found my clicks rate is higher because of accidental clicks.
