PodPress 8.8 (the latest version as of this writing) is incompatible with WordPress 2.6.
The fix is to add this line to wp-config.php -

We tried a lot of things to fix this: changing the camera’s resolution, downloading the driver (117 MB), etc. But the solution turned out to be a Microsoft Hotfix for video degradation.
