This is a question that’s always in my mind. I constantly reflect on it and reconsider it. Partly this is because I don’t know of a more important question. It seems to me that everything should revolve around this question. If you’re interested, I’d like to ponder it with you at any time.

I’m reading Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X, Third Edition, by Aaron Hillegass. In Chapter 1, he has a section called How to Learn. I think this applies well to any subject, whether it’s computer programming or art history. At yesterday’s Genesis lesson, Pastor Norbert covered James 4:13-17. Here’s what Jesus says:
Warning about Self-Confidence
Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.†How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.†Otherwise you are boasting about your own plans, and all such boasting is evil.
Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

It’s past midnight. I was about to go to sleep, but then I saw something shocking on 43 Things… keep reading to find out what it was.
So, I was listening to the radio today when I heard that someone had shot 8 people dead in a shopping mall. He injured another 7. And he killed himself.
