USC Wins the Rose Bowl

I watched the start of the game, with George Lucas and the kickoff. It was 3-3 at halftime, and we watched the Michigan band play. My dad was siding with the University of Michigan, where he earned his undergraduate degree. =)

Then we went out and attempted to find two geocaches, which we couldn’t find. Then, when we got back home, I turned on the TV to find USC ahead 32-11. At this point, ‘SC folks were already celebrating, and the commentators were talking about bloggers in Ann Arbor, considering this to be final score, and so on. Then Michigan made a touchdown, and the final score was 32-17.

USC wins!

So we’ve won our Rose Bowl game, at the stadium where we lost against Texas and UCLA. Although USC wanted to win the National Championship, we lost against UCLA. It’s not too bad, though, since I doubt how well we could have done against Ohio State. But we’re very happy about this win for sure, especially at the Rose Bowl, which is the “Granddaddy of them all.” More coverage by the Irish Trojan; AOL Sports Blog.

Fight on!

    Congrats! Go Pac-10!

I didn’t know you go Geocaching. We do it every year during our Mammoth fishing trip (you get some real interesting ones up in the mountains… there’s even on at the Mt. Whitney summit!).
