What’s the happiest moment of your life?

18 months ago, Scott Adams, author of the Dilbert comic strip, permanently lost his voice due to a disorder known as Spasmodic Dysphonia. Nobody has ever recovered from it.

But yesterday, he did.

Read his story.

He ends by asking what the happiest moment of your life is. One of my happiest moments was getting accepted to USC. It was so unbelievable that I held in the excitement. Of course, I don’t really have much of a way to outwardly express excitement. But inside, I was filled with joy. And that led me to TCF’s Monday Night Bible Studies and last year’s Fall Conference, which was really the highlight of my year.

Scott has enough comments on his blog. Leave a comment here :)

One day, getting married will be your happiest day of your life. Then after that, seeing the birth of your first child will be the happiest day of your life.

That’s what it was for me.

For me it was when myself and my best friend were both upset about certain things and he hugged me for hours, without saying anything. It was like we didn’t even need to but it just being that close to someone and knowing how they’re feeling -that it was the same for him- and that I knew he was there for me that made my heart pretty much sing (: I still remember every time that I pulled away, he’d always hold me tighter as if not wanting to let me go, like I was a support that he needed – and that is one of the feelings I love when ever I’m around him still. Being needed and needing him
