Googolplex

the fun page about the googolplex is not only neat in and of itself; it also uses a neat abbreviation: qed.

It’s the Latin phrase “quod erat demonstrandum” (literally, “that which was to be demonstrated”)

my goal is to somehow implement this abbreviation sometime in the next week. it “may be written at the end of mathematical proofs to show that the result required for the proof to be complete has been obtained.”

awesome.
