Disneyland with Builders

I just got back from Disneyland. It was awesome.

Ah, the joys of using dual monitors. I’m blogging on one screen and editing the photos from the day with Picasa2 (the latest version) on the other screen. Speaking of which, I updated the version of Picasa on my laptop: Picasa Version 2.0.0 (Build 18.84…) to Picasa Version 2.2.0 (Build 28.08, 0).

I’ll add a few selected photos to this entry in due time. I’ll start narrating some of the day’s events as I go along.

The first thing we did when we arrived was walk around Downtown Disney because we were still waiting for Andy to arrive. We built some very impressive LEGO models during the short time we had.

When we all met up and went into Disneyland, we were a group of six people; three guys and three girls. It turned out to the perfect size for a group for most rides. I would highly recommend a group of six for any Disneyland trip. If you have twelve people, split into two groups of six. That would make things easier. The six in our group were –

Space Mountain had a Stand By wait time of 100 minutes. That’s the longest we saw of any ride. It’s not a very good photo: it says 100.

The Round Pooh beanbags were by far the cutest plushies I saw. I caught the Tigger and Pooh in their natural habitats. The “Cute Pooh” was cute as well.

By far the most impressive show I saw was Fantasmic, of course. It’s a very elaborate show. They put a lot of stuff into it.
