UCLA’s harder to get into?

Someone on CollegeConfidential (thread) thought UCLA is harder to get into than USC. Based on the facts, that idea appears to be wrong. Copying from my post -

They’re equally hard to get into. USC might be even a little harder to get into than UCLA.

In 2005:
UCLA had a 26.90% admit rate.
USC had a 26.58% admit rate.

One Response to UCLA’s harder to get into?

  1. someone says:

the people applying usc aren’t as competitive though.
ucla has higher sat scores and gpas.
the percentage of admittance just happens to be similar.
