MLK Jr.’s Mountaintop Speech

On recommendation of my Core 102 professor, I listened to all of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I’ve been to the Mountaintop” speech (1968). I have a new respect for the man, much greater than what I had before. It’s truly an amazing speech, especially coming just a day before his assassination. His story is really amazing. Highly recommended listening.

  1. […] This is just sickening. Blake Ross points out that some website called “Rock the Vote”, which I have heard of before, accidentally linked to a MLK, Jr. hate site in their supposed memorial of the holiday. As I mentioned before, he was truly a great man. […]

  2. You gotta admire the guy, for standing up for what he believed in. It cost his life, but ultimately his dream was achieved. Its still amazing and shocking to me… that it wasn’t THAT long ago that this happened!
