AV Foundation on iPhone 2.0

There are still thousands of people using iPhone OS 2.0. I met one of them last night.

The AV Foundation framework is only supported in iPhone OS 2.1 or higher.

When my app is run on iPhone 2.0, I want it to downgrade gracefully. The app must still work. I’d be fine with the AV Foundation part not working. But the app must not refuse to run, and it must not crash.

By the way, does anyone know what this error means?

putpkt: write failed: Broken pipe.

Xcode crashes extremely often. If Apple allows me to join the iPhone SDK QA team, I’ll make sure it crashes less.
