Chase your dreams and join a startup

From one of my favorite blogs, The Simple Dollar:

My work career taught me that stability isn’t everything. If you’re in a stable career, you’re often surrounded by complacent people, which makes it difficult to get things done and exciting projects are hard to come by.

My life experience has created my perspective on the world. … It pushes me towards chasing my dreams instead of seeking the good-paying stable job.

A bit of instability can be a really good thing. For older folks, it’s likely bad for their health. But I’m sure I can take it. Come thick or thin, disaster or breakthrough, I’m ready to take it all on.
